SCAM ALERT – How Will You Die
Facebook users should be on the lookout for a message that claims it will show you how you will die. -If you get drawn in by the message you will end up being led to a Facebook Fan page that forces you to like the page and install a Rogue Facebook application. The Rogue Facebook application will spam your friends in your name while you are told you need to complete Fake surveys/offers for “Facebook Anti-Spam Verification”. The process is a fraud. Photo Examples of the scam process have been provided below, and the resources section will provide you with information on how to deal with the spam.

If you have already become a victim of the scam and are currently spreading the spam, you need remove the rogue application and delete the wall messages you have posted as soon as possible. If you have seen your friends post this type of scam, take the time to report the spam to Facebook.

Scammers are now making Facebook applications that appear to work correctly and do not spam until they have collected a lot of users.. Once these apps have collected enough users to be an effective spam tool, the scammers will switch the app to sending out spam with forced surveys..
